Women in the Arts (WITA) students graduate from Mercy High School with a design portfolio for college. The college preparatory curriculum includes intensive and extensive multimedia instruction and presentation for the serious art student both in and out of the classroom. Students are accepted into the WITA Program on the basis of a portfolio submission at the time of application to Mercy High School. Incoming freshmen who join WITA are fast-tracked into one semester of Intermediate Art and Intermediate Ceramics following the completion of a 10-day Art Workshop the summer before enrollment.
