Mercy High School Uniform Guidelines
Monday - Thursday Uniform (includes liturgy & assembly days)
Skirt: Mercy plaid skirt may not be shorter than five inches from the back of the knee.
Pants: Appropriate gray dress slacks are allowed in place of the Mercy Plaid Skirts on liturgy and assembly days. Black pants may be worn any day except liturgy and assembly days. Ripped pants never allowed. Yoga pants, leggings, and blue jeans are not allowed (*see sidebar).
Outerwear: Black sweater, black vest, a solid black jacket, and Mercy spirit wear (black or gray Mercy sweatshirts) are allowed. Non-Mercy sweatshirts are not allowed.
Socks: White or black. No patterned socks.
Shoes: Predominantly white, black, or a combination of white and black are allowed. Students may not wear boots, any shoe with a heel, slippers, Uggs, or moccasins. Rain boots may only be worn on rainy days.
Tights: White or Black solid colored tights may be worn. Students may wear solid black leggings if they are opaque, do not have holes, and are worn with the Mercy Skirt. No exceptions to this may be made.
Casual Friday Uniform (excludes liturgy & assembly days)
Any of the above items are acceptable uniform pieces on casual dress day.
Students may wear black or blue jeans, any color shoes and socks, and any color jacket and shirt as long as they have on a Mercy logo'd t-shirt and the Mercy logo is visible.

* Please Note:
Black pants will be phased out as approved uniform wear by 2021. Only juniors (Class of 2021) and seniors (Class of 2020) will be allowed to wear black pants.
Note: Students must wear the Mercy Plaid skirt or approved Charcoal Herringbone Slacks on liturgy and assembly days.
