Students from Mercy's Special Program, Women in Science and Healthcare (WISH), held their annual blood drive. Students, teachers and staff came out to donate blood. The WISH organizers, are thankful for the support and are excited to be able to participate in saving so many lives! Thank you for your donation. Giving blood means giving mercy.
Mercy students joined Riordan students to raise more than $4,000 for the annual WinterFaith Shelter Benefit Walk on April 7. The walk supports San Francisco Interfaith Council’s program, to provide 60-70 supplemental shelter beds and annually assists with giving shelter and feeding the homeless during in the cold and rainy season. Among these shelter sites are St. Mary’s Cathedral and St. Boniface Church. Mercy students gathered pledges, walked and helped at water stations around Lake Merced.
On April 4, more than 200 guests joined us for Mercy's annual La Merced Gala. Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and bidders, we raised more than $180,000 for the Mercy Scholarship Fund. This commitment to our students affords them the opportunity to receive a Catholic Mercy education.
