Photo Club

Moderator:  Gail Bennett

 

Mission Statement: To teach students how to take digital photos and manipulate and print photos using computer software programs.

 

The Goals of the club: To make the Photo Club members more aware of photographs and to expose them to the artistic medium of digital photography.

 

Time and place of your regular meetings: We usually meet as a club once a month in the Art Room.

Club Meetings:

Wednesday, May 19. at 2:30p.m. - 3:00p.m. ~ in the Art Room

Final meeting/party, Refreshments and snacks will be served to PhotoClub members for all their hard work and dedication to the 2009-2010 Photoclub.

Cameras should be brought to each club meetings unless specified otherwise by club moderator, club co-moderators, or club co-vice moderators.

Events and /or activities your club sponsors: We also plan field trips to see photo exhibitions and locations for photo shoots.  We will post information about field trips on the bulletin board located in the Photo Lab and on the Club Bulletin Board (in the hall outside of the Cafeteria).

 

Events/Field Trips:

Retrieve permission slips for field trips on the Photo Lab bulletin board.  Turn in the completed form to Ms. Bennett in the Art Room.
 

Officers:  Officers (co-presidents) are appointed after filling out an application and being interviewed by the moderator.

There is a $5.00 membership fee collected for toner and paper that the members will use in the Photo Lab.

 

Student photographs may be used for the school yearbook, the literary magazine, and various art exhibits around the Bay Area.
