Moderator: Ms. J. Miner

What it is: The California Scholarship Federation honors students for their academic achievements and for their service to the community.

What it's for: A graduating senior who has maintained membership in good standing for four semesters (sophomore through senior years) will earn Life Membership ("Sealbearer status") and the award will be noted on her transcript. Her diploma will have a gold seal affixed to it, and she will receive an honor certificate. She will be awarded a gold tassel to affix to the mortarboard for the graduation ceremony.*

Who can join: Membership is by application, and is awarded by semester. Membership is open to all Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, and second semester Frosh (unofficial membership.)

How to become a member: Students must apply for membership at the beginning of each semester; membership is awarded for the current semester based on the previous semester's work.

How to Apply: Application forms are available during the first weeks of school in Room 208. Applications must be fully and accurately filled out and returned to the moderator before the due date (watch for announcements in homeroom.) Returned applications MUST have attached to them a copy (not the original) of your report card, OR an unofficial transcript from the PREVIOUS semester.

Membership lists will be posted each semester on the CSF Bulletin Board
near the elevator on the third floor.

*Students who are CSF members for all six eligible semesters, 10th-12th grade,
will earn a "100% Life Member" notation and special certificate.
