Volunteer of the Month

The Program | Culminating Service Project | Volunteer Opportunities
Forms | Volunteer of the Month

Throughout the school year, students are nominated to be honored as “volunteer of the month” by their organizational supervisors or their colleagues at Mercy. These students are exemplary in their commitment to community service. After their nomination, they are interviewed by members of the student community service team and the community service coordinator. Regardless of when their interview occurs, they may be selected at any time during the academic year. Student of the month honorees are awarded a certificate and a gift certificate to a local ice cream shop. They are also featured on a bulletin board in the main hallway.
