want to visit Mercy's classrooms during a regular school
day:
Parents must call the Admissions Office (415-334-0525 ext. 243) to arrange an appointment for eighth graders who want to visit classrooms during a regular school day. Before calling, please print the 8th Grade Visit Form. |
| Sunday, October 24 | Open House Program:
Starts promptly at 9:00am. Visitors will tour the school, meet faculty, alumnae and students to learn more about academic, athletic and co-curricular programs (approximately 2 hours). Reservations are not required. There is ample neighborhood parking. Campus parking is closed. Scholarship Award applications are available at Open House. A family interview is required in order to apply for a scholarship. The scheduling of interviews will take place at Open House. Call Sally O'Connell for interview details: 415-334-0525 ext. 235. |

Deadline:
Application and $80 fee due. The late application fee is $100. Late applications will be reviewed on a space-available basis. |
| Saturday, January 8 | High School Placement Test:
8:15AM - 12 noon Check-in begins in Mercy's front lobby at 8:00am. Students should take this test only once at any SF Catholic Archdiocesan High School to which they have applied. The test results will be sent to three other schools as indicated. Students with documented learning disabilities may be eligible for extended time testing. See the Admissions Application for details. |

| Saturday, January 15 | High School Placement Test:
8:15am - 12 noon Check-in begins in Mercy's front lobby at 8:00AM. This day is for applicants who were unable to take the test on the previous Saturday. Extended time tests are not available.

Requested:
The Admissions Director contacts each applicant’s current school to request the 7th and 8th grade transcripts, standardized test results, and recommendations. Parents/students are not required to submit these documents. |
| Thursday, March 17 | Notification letters are mailed to applicants. |
| Tuesday, March 29 | Registration Deadline for entering freshmen. |
| Sunday, April 10 | New Student and Parent Orientation. |
