September/October School Visitations:

Representatives from Mercy's Admissions Office visit over 35 schools to speak with 7th and 8th grade girls. Admissions packets are distributed, questions are answered and information is shared.

   
Monday, September 19 First Day to Call to arrange an appointment for 8th grade girls who want to visit Mercy's classrooms during a regular school day:

Parents must call the Admissions Office at 415-334-0525 ext. 243. Before calling, please print the 8th Grade Visit Form.

   
Sunday, October 23 Open House Program:

Starts promptly at 9:00am. Visitors will tour the school, meet faculty, alumnae and students to learn more about academic, athletic and co-curricular programs. Reservations are not required. There is ample neighborhood parking. Campus parking is closed. Tuition Assistance applications are available at Open House. Call Sally O'Connell for details: 415-334-0525 ext. 235.

   
Monday, December 5 Application Deadline:

Application and $80 fee due. The late application fee is $100. Late applications will be reviewed on a space-available basis.

   
Saturday, January 7 High School Placement Test:

8:15AM - 12 noon Check-in begins in Mercy's front lobby at 8:00am. Students may take this test only once at any SF Catholic Archdiocesan High School to which they have applied. The test results will be sent to other schools as indicated. Students with documented learning disabilities may be eligible for extended time testing. Call the Admissions Office 415 584-5929 for requirements and to obtain an application for extended testing time.

   
Saturday, January 14 High School Placement Test:

8:15am - 12 noon Check-in begins in Mercy's front lobby at 8:00AM. This day is for applicants who were unable to take the test on the previous Saturday. Extended time tests are not available.

   
Mid-January Documents Requested:

The Admissions Director will contact each applicant's current school to request the 7th and 8th grade transcripts, standardized test results, and recommendations. Parents/students are not required to submit these documents.

   
Mid-February Student and Parent Interview:

Families will be notified of their interview date and time.

   
Thursday, March 15 Notification letters are mailed to applicants.
Tuesday, March 27 Registration Deadline for entering freshmen.
Sunday, April 22 New Student and Parent Orientation.
