Classroom Rules

 

·      Be on time.

·      Your bags/backpacks are to be placed on the back counter immediately upon coming into the classroom.  You may retrieve them at the END of class.

·      The only items you are to have at your desk are your History notebook/binder, pen/pencil, water bottle, and your textbook (if we are working with it that day).

·      You must be IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT when the bell rings or you will be marked late.

·      You are not to leave your assigned seat unless given permission or unless we are doing an activity that involves movement.  This includes film time.

·      Homework is due at the beginning of each class period.  No exceptions.

·      Texting, passing items from one desk to another and other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will earn you a trip to the Dean’s office.

·      The classroom is not a beauty parlor; therefore, cosmetics used in the classroom will be confiscated and given to the Dean.  This especially applies to heavily-scented lotions.

·      You will receive a bathroom pass with points which may be redeemed for necessary trips to the restroom or extra credit at the end of the semester.
