Club
Membership Fee
The membership fee for the Photo Club is $5.00. The $5.00 fee pays for the chemicals and paper you will use in the Photo Lab.
Please stop by the Art Room to pay Ms. Bennett your membership fee. You must pay the membership fee before signing up
for training sessions!
Training Sessions
All new members must complete all three training sessions to use the photo lab. If you have not completed all training sessions, please see Ms. Bennett. Training Session #3 - using the enlarger and printing from your negatives are currently scheduled for Thursday, January 10, at 8:45 during Faculty Time, or Monday, January 14, during Choice. Please sign up on the Photo Club bulletin board.
Open Photo Lab
The Photo Lab is open after school on Mondays and Tuesdays until 4:30 p.m. Any photo club member may also use the lab during their lunch or breaks during the regular school day.
Supplies
The price of black and white film is $3.50 for 24 exposures. The negative holders (plastic sheets) are two for 35 cents. All supplies are available from Ms. Bennett. Remember to stock up for the weekends to take lots of photos!
Photo Contests
All photo club members are encouraged to enter art contests. Information on a variety of art contests is posted on the bulletin board in the Photo Lab. Information is available in the Art studios as well.
On-Line Art Gallery
Any Mercy student, faculty, or staff who would like to exhibit their color or black and white photographs on the Photo Club's On-Line Art Gallery should submit them to Ms. Bennett. Be sure to put your name and homeroom section on the back of each photo.
